Biography
Charlie Day (born Charles Peckham Day, 9 February 1976) is an American actor, comedian, writer and producer. He is best known for playing Charlie Kelly in the FX/FXX series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2005–present), which he also writes for and executive produces.
Day's film roles include Dr Newton Geiszler in Pacific Rim (2013) and its sequel, Dale Arbus in Horrible Bosses (2011) and Horrible Bosses 2 (2014), and the voice of Luigi in The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023) and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (2026). He made his directorial debut with Fool's Paradise (2023). He co-created the Apple TV+ series Mythic Quest (2020–2025).
