Biography
Colin Teague is a British film and television director. He grew up in Buckinghamshire and studied at Redroofs Theatre School and the London International Film School.
He is most associated with the Doctor Who franchise, being the first person to direct for the main series and both of its spin-offs, Torchwood (2006) and the pilot episode of The Sarah Jane Adventures. His other credits include episodes of Being Human (for which he received BAFTA nominations in 2009 and 2011), The White Queen (2013), Da Vinci's Demons (2013), Dragonheart 3: The Sorcerer's Curse (2015) and Beowulf: Return to the Shieldlands (2016). He also directed the 2011 biopic Shirley, which won a BAFTA Cymru for Best Single Drama.
