Biography
David Petrarca is an American director and producer of theatre, television and film. Born on 10 November 1965 in Warwick, Rhode Island, he served as a director at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago from 1988 until 2005.
His television directing credits include episodes of Gilmore Girls (2000), Big Love (2006), True Blood (2008), Boardwalk Empire (2010) and Game of Thrones (2011), as well as The Expanse, Marvel's Jessica Jones, The Man in the High Castle, The Alienist and Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan.
Petrarca directed the Broadway musical A Year With Frog and Toad (2003), which received three Tony Award nominations. He received a Joseph Jefferson Award and was named a Chicagoan of the Year by the Chicago Tribune in 1996.
