Biography
Gerard Monaco is a British actor. He was born on 16 July 1979 in Greenwich, London, and trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
His screen debut came in Mike Leigh's Vera Drake (2004). He played Charles Dilke in Jane Campion's Bright Star (2009) and has appeared in films including Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011), Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017), Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (2018) and 3 Body Problem (2024) as Collins.
Monaco has worked extensively in theatre, including productions at the National Theatre and a West End debut in the 2009 revival of A View from the Bridge. His television credits include Utopia (2013) and Harlots (2017–2019).
