Biography
Halle Berry is an American actress. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she began her career as a model and competed in beauty pageants, winning Miss Ohio in 1986 and placing as first runner-up in Miss USA that year.
Her breakthrough came with the romantic comedy Boomerang (1992). She went on to roles in The Flintstones (1994) and Bulworth (1998), and won a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award for the television film Introducing Dorothy Dandridge (1999). Berry received the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in Monster's Ball (2001).
She is known for playing Storm in the X-Men film series (2000–2014) and for roles in Die Another Day (2002), Swordfish (2001) and John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum (2019). In 2026 she appeared as Sharon in the crime thriller Crime 101.
