Biography

Jack Arthur Davenport is an English actor. Born on 1 March 1973, he is the son of actors Nigel Davenport and Maria Aitken. He studied English literature and film at the University of East Anglia.

Davenport's early television roles included Miles Stewart in the BBC series This Life (1996–1997) and Steve Taylor in Coupling (2000–2004). His film credits include Peter Smith-Kingsley in The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999) and James Norrington in the Pirates of the Caribbean series (2003, 2006, 2007). He has also appeared in Kingsman: The Secret Service (2015) and the series The Morning Show (2019–).

He is married to actress Michelle Gomez.
