Biography

Jake Roberts is an English film editor born in London on 26 June 1977. He began working in the industry in the mid-1990s and has edited numerous feature films and television productions.

Roberts is known for his work on Citadel (2012), Starred Up (2013), The Riot Club (2014), Brooklyn (2015), Hell or High Water (2016), Outlaw King (2018), Men (2022), Civil War (2024) and Alien: Romulus (2024). He has also edited the television miniseries Devs (2020) and is credited as editor on the forthcoming 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple (2026).

For Hell or High Water, Roberts received an Academy Award nomination for Best Film Editing, as well as nominations for an Independent Spirit Award and an American Cinema Editors Award.
