Biography
Jeffrey Jur is an American cinematographer. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he studied film at Columbia College Chicago and began working in documentaries and short films before moving into features and television.
His film credits include Dirty Dancing (1987), The Last Seduction (1994) and My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002). On television he has served as director of photography on series including Dexter (2006), for which he shot episodes in 2012 and 2013, Carnivàle, The Mentalist, Westworld, How to Get Away with Murder and Bridgerton (2020).
Jur is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers. He has received two Primetime Emmy Awards, for Carnivàle and the telefilm Bessie, and two competitive ASC Awards.
