Biography
John Schwartzman is an American cinematographer. Born in Los Angeles in 1960, he graduated from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts in 1985 and is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers.
He has worked extensively with directors including Michael Bay, John Lee Hancock, Colin Trevorrow and Paul Feig. His credits include Armageddon (1998), Pearl Harbor (2001), Seabiscuit (2003), for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Cinematography, The Amazing Spider-Man (2012), Jurassic World (2015) and The Housemaid (2025).
