Biography
Joseph Bishara (born 26 July 1970) is an American composer, music producer and actor. He was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Bishara began his career in the 1990s as a guitarist and keyboardist in industrial and rock bands including Drown. He composed the score for the 1998 film Joseph's Gift and later became known for his work on horror films. He has scored all five Insidious films (2010–2023) and several entries in The Conjuring series, including The Conjuring (2013) and The Conjuring 2 (2016). He has also appeared as the Lipstick-Face Demon in multiple Insidious films, including Insidious: The Red Door (2023), for which he composed the music.
