Biography
Joshua Marston is an American screenwriter and film director. He was born on 13 August 1968 in Los Angeles County, California. He earned a BA in Social Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, an MA in Political Science from the University of Chicago in 1994, and an MFA in filmmaking from New York University in 1998.
Marston is best known for directing and writing the feature film Maria Full of Grace (2004). He has also directed the features The Forgiveness of Blood (2011), Complete Unknown (2016) and Come Sunday (2018), as well as episodes of television series including Six Feet Under (2001), The Newsroom (2012), Ray Donovan (2013) and Billions (2016). He received a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2014.
