Biography
Katie Weiland is a British film and television editor. She began her career assisting in commercials before moving into drama, working with editor Lisa Gunning on a project for Anthony Minghella. This led to her first editing credits and subsequent work on series including Luther and Silent Witness.
Weiland has edited multiple episodes of Game of Thrones (2012–2019), for which she received a Primetime Emmy Award. Her other credits include Slow Horses (2022), House of the Dragon (2024), 3 Body Problem (2024), The Alienist (2018) and Big Little Lies (2019). She is a director of Katie Weiland Film Editing Ltd.
