Biography
Kim Friedman is an American television director and producer. Her career began with directing around seventy episodes of the sitcom Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman for Norman Lear, followed by the pilot and episodes of Square Pegs.
She has directed episodes of many series, including L.A. Law, The Love Boat, Dynasty, A Different World, Beverly Hills, 90210, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1994–1997), Star Trek: Voyager (1995), Babylon 5 (1996) and Lizzie McGuire (2001). In 1988 she received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for directing an episode of L.A. Law. Friedman has also directed theatre productions in New York and Los Angeles, and in London.
