Biography

Lee Tergesen is an American actor. Born on 8 July 1965 in Ivoryton, Connecticut, he graduated from Valley Regional High School in nearby Deep River and later from the two-year programme at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York.

He began his career with stage work while working as a waiter in New York, including at the Empire Diner from 1986 to 1989. His first major film role came as Rosie in Point Break (1991). Tergesen is known for his performances as Tobias Beecher in the HBO series Oz (1997–2003), Chett Donnelly in Weird Science (1994–1998), and Evan Wright in the miniseries Generation Kill (2008). His other film credits include Wayne's World (1992), Wayne's World 2 (1993), Shaft (2000) and Monster (2003).
