Biography
Les Landau is an American television and film director and producer. He began his career in the 1970s as a production assistant and assistant director on films and series including Dynasty and T. J. Hooker, later serving as first assistant director on the first season of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Landau directed 22 episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation (from 1988), 14 episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993–1998), nine episodes of Star Trek: Voyager (1995–2000) and one episode of Star Trek: Enterprise (2002). He has also directed episodes of Beverly Hills, 90210, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Sliders, JAG, Dark Angel and Charmed. In 1998 he produced and directed the feature film Archibald the Rainbow Painter.
He is the son of producer Ely Landau and is married to writer Laura Landau.
