Biography
Lili Anne Taylor is an American actress. Born on 20 February 1967 in Glencoe, Illinois, she trained at the Piven Theatre Workshop and attended the Goodman Theatre School at DePaul University.
She first gained recognition for supporting roles in Mystic Pizza (1988) and Say Anything... (1989). Taylor became a prominent figure in 1990s independent cinema with performances in Dogfight (1991), Short Cuts (1993), Household Saints (1993) and I Shot Andy Warhol (1996). Her mainstream film credits include High Fidelity (2000), Public Enemies (2009), The Conjuring (2013) and Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (2015).
On television she has appeared in Six Feet Under, American Crime (for which she received a Primetime Emmy nomination) and Outer Range. She plays Governor Marge McCaffrey in the Marvel series Daredevil: Born Again (2025).
