Biography
Lily Rabe is an American actress born on 29 June 1982 in New York City. She is the daughter of playwright David Rabe and actress Jill Clayburgh. She studied theatre at Northwestern University.
Rabe began her career on stage and screen in the early 2000s. She received a Tony Award nomination for Best Actress in a Play for her performance as Portia in the 2010 Broadway production of The Merchant of Venice. She is best known for her multiple roles in the FX anthology series American Horror Story (2011–2021).
Her other notable credits include the films Vice (2018) and Pawn Sacrifice (2015), and the television series The Undoing (2020), in which she played Sylvia Steinetz, and Love & Death (2023), in which she played Betty Gore.
