Biography

Lucy Liu, also credited as Lucy Alexis Liu, is an American actress. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in Asian languages and cultures.

She is known for her role as O-Ren Ishii in Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003) and Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004), Alex Munday in Charlie's Angels (2000), and voice work as Viper in the Kung Fu Panda films (2008–2016). Other credits include Red One (2024) as Zoe, Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023) as Kalypso, and The Devil Wears Prada 2 (2026) as Sasha.

Liu has also directed and produced projects, and she received two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Critics' Choice Awards.
