Biography
Malcolm Hulke was a British television writer. He contributed scripts to The Avengers (1961) in the 1960s and wrote multiple episodes of Doctor Who (1963) between 1967 and 1974, including The Faceless Ones, The War Games (co-written with Terrance Dicks), Doctor Who and the Silurians, The Sea Devils and Invasion of the Dinosaurs.
Hulke also wrote for other series such as Danger Man and Crossroads, and co-wrote early science-fiction serials including the Pathfinders series. He authored the screenwriting manual Writing for Television in the 70s (1974) and novelised several of his Doctor Who stories for Target Books. He collaborated frequently with Terrance Dicks on scripts and the 1972 book The Making of Doctor Who.
