Biography

Marlene Stewart is an American costume designer. Born on 25 August 1949 in Boston, Massachusetts, she began her career designing costumes for Madonna's concerts and music videos before moving into film.

Her breakthrough came in 1991 with the costumes for JFK and Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Subsequent credits include Falling Down (1993), True Lies (1994), Enemy of the State (1998), Gone in 60 Seconds (2000), Real Steel (2011), Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (2013), Free Guy (2021) and Top Gun: Maverick (2022). In 2012 she received the Costume Designers Guild Career Achievement Award.
