Biography
Matthew David Lewis is an English actor. He is best known for playing Neville Longbottom in the eight Harry Potter films, from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001) to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011).
Born in Leeds, West Yorkshire, Lewis made his screen debut in the television film Some Kind of Life (1995). After the Harry Potter series he appeared in Me Before You (2016) and the television series The Syndicate, Bluestone 42 and All Creatures Great and Small. His first stage role was in Our Boys at the Duchess Theatre in 2012.
