Biography
Michael Hitchcock is an American actor, comedian, screenwriter and television producer. Born on 28 July 1958 in Defiance, Ohio, he was raised in Illinois and studied at Northwestern University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree, and at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he received a Master of Fine Arts. He is an alumnus of the Los Angeles improv troupe The Groundlings.
As an actor, Hitchcock has appeared in several Christopher Guest films, including Waiting for Guffman (1996), Best in Show (2000), A Mighty Wind (2003), For Your Consideration (2006) and Mascots (2016). Other film roles include Bridesmaids (2011), Serenity (2005) and Wild Hogs (2007). On television he has recurred in Glee (also as writer and director), Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (also writer and producer) and Nobody Wants This (2024–) as Henry. He has also written under the name Fritz Gordon.
