Biography
Monica Owusu-Breen is an American television writer and producer. She was born on 25 April 1968 in Cornwall, England, and grew up in the United States after spending part of her childhood in Spain.
She began her television career writing for Charmed and went on to work as a writer, story editor and producer on series including Alias (2001), Lost (2004), Brothers & Sisters (2006), Fringe (2008) and Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013). She frequently collaborates with writer Alison Schapker. The Lost writing staff, including Owusu-Breen, received a Writers Guild of America nomination for Best Dramatic Series in 2007.
Her later credits include writing and producing on Revolution (2012), Midnight, Texas (2017), Percy Jackson and the Olympians (2023) and Dune: Prophecy (2024). She studied at Brown University and the University of California, San Diego.
