Biography

Nathanaël Karmitz is a French film producer. He was born on 8 August 1978 in Boulogne-Billancourt, Hauts-de-Seine.

Since 2005 he has been chairman and CEO of the MK2 group, the French film company founded by his father Marin Karmitz; his brother Elisha Karmitz serves as general manager. He joined the family business in 1997 and has held various roles in development, publishing and content before taking the top position.

Karmitz has produced or co-produced numerous films, including Certified Copy (2010), Laurence Anyways (2012), On the Road (2012), Tom at the Farm (2014), It's Only the End of the World (2016), Cold War (2018) and How to Have Sex (2023). He has also served as executive or co-producer on later titles such as The Worst Person in the World (2021) and Sentimental Value (2025).
