Biography
Paul F. Tompkins is an American comedian and actor. He began performing stand-up comedy in 1986 at The Comedy Works in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as part of a sketch duo.
Tompkins is known for his appearances on the HBO sketch series Mr. Show with Bob and David (1995–1998), his voice role as Mr. Peanutbutter in the animated series BoJack Horseman (2014–2020), and film roles including the MC in Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004), Prescott in There Will Be Blood (2007), and a voice part in Magnolia (1999). He has also worked on podcasts and variety programmes.
