Biography
Rhoda Griffis is an American actress. Born in Raleigh, North Carolina, she holds a BFA from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where she serves on the board of directors.
She has an extensive stage career, with leading roles in productions including Macbeth, Richard III, Angels in America, Proof, Intimate Apparel, Collected Stories and Dinner with Friends, and has worked with companies such as the North Carolina Shakespeare Festival, Charlotte Rep and the Alliance Theatre. On screen, she has appeared in supporting roles in films including The Blind Side (2009), Walk the Line (2005), Hidden Figures (2016) and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017), and in series such as Ozark, Mindhunter, Fear the Walking Dead and The Righteous Gemstones. She plays Dr. Carol Turner in the 2026 series His & Hers.
