Biography

Rodrigo García (also credited as Rodrigo García Barcha) is a Colombian-born director and screenwriter. He was born on 24 August 1959 in Bogotá and studied at Harvard College and the AFI Conservatory.

García has directed episodes of the HBO series The Sopranos (1999) and Six Feet Under (2001), as well as Carnivàle (2003), In Treatment (2008) and The Affair (2014). His feature films include Nine Lives (2005), Albert Nobbs (2011), Four Good Days (2021) and Raymond & Ray (2022).

He is the son of writer Gabriel García Márquez and is married to Adriana Sheinbaum.
