Biography

William Hill is an American actor born on 30 March 1961 in Newark, New Jersey. He trained at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York City under Sanford Meisner, following earlier theatre work in New Jersey.

His film and television credits include Gran Torino (2008) as Tim Kennedy, The Devil's Advocate (1997), Boardwalk Empire (2010–2011) as Ward Boss O'Neill, House of Cards (2013–2017) as Ken Caswell, and Eileen (2023) as the Intake Guard. He has also appeared on Broadway and in theatres across the United States.
