Biography
Aimee-Ffion Edwards is a Welsh actress. She was born on 21 November 1987 in Newport, Wales, and attended Welsh-medium schools. She is fluent in Welsh and English.
Edwards began her career with a role in the 2002 Welsh short film Dŵr Dwfn and placed as runner-up in the Welsh-language singing competition Wawffactor in 2006. She made her television debut as Lucy "Sketch" in the E4 series Skins (2008). She is known for her roles as Esme Shelby in Peaky Blinders (2013–2022) and Shirley Dander in Slow Horses (2022–present), as well as appearances in Luther (2011), Detectorists (2014–2015) and War of the Worlds (2019). She has also worked in theatre and provided voice roles in video games.
