Biography
Angus MacInnes (also credited as Angus McInnes) was a Canadian actor. He trained at the University of Windsor drama programme and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
He appeared in over 80 film and television productions. His roles include Gold Leader (Jon 'Dutch' Vander) in Star Wars (1977) and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), Jean 'Rosey' LaRose in Strange Brew (1983), Fergie in Witness (1985), and appearances in Judge Dredd (1995), Eyes Wide Shut (1999), Hellboy (2004), Captain Phillips (2013) and Vikings (2013). He also played Sonny Munro in the BBC Scotland soap River City.
MacInnes was born on 27 October 1947 in Windsor, Ontario, and died on 23 December 2024 in Edinburgh, Scotland.
