Biography
Brad Dourif is an American actor. Born Bradford Claude Dourif on 18 March 1950 in Huntington, West Virginia, he trained for the stage and began his career in New York theatre with the Circle Repertory Company.
He gained early acclaim for his performance as Billy Bibbit in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975), which earned him a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award nomination. Dourif is also known for voicing Chucky in the Child's Play franchise, playing Gríma Wormtongue in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002), Piter De Vries in Dune (1984), and Dr. Amos 'Doc' Cochran in the HBO series Deadwood (2004–2006), for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination.
