Biography
Chris Boucher was an English television screenwriter and script editor. He wrote three serials for Doctor Who in 1977: The Face of Evil, The Robots of Death and Image of the Fendahl. He created the companion Leela for the series.
Boucher served as script editor on all episodes of Blake's 7 (1978–1981) and wrote several episodes himself. He later created and wrote for the series Star Cops (1987). He worked as a script editor on Shoestring, Bergerac and The Bill.
Born Christopher Franklin Boucher on 15 February 1943 in Maldon, Essex, he died on 11 December 2022.
