Biography
Chris Weitz is an American screenwriter, producer and director. He frequently collaborates with his brother Paul Weitz, with whom he co-wrote and co-directed the comedy American Pie (1999) and the adaptation About a Boy (2002).
His screenwriting credits include the animated film Antz (1998), The Golden Compass (2007), Cinderella (2015), Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), Pinocchio (2022) and the co-written screenplay for The Creator (2023) with Gareth Edwards. He has also produced and directed several features.
