Biography
Chris Wimble is a British film and television editor. Born in 1942 in Worthing, Sussex, he has worked extensively on British television dramas and miniseries.
Wimble edited episodes of the 1979 BBC series Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and its 1982 sequel Smiley's People. His other credits include Doctor Who, Jeeves and Wooster (1990), 84 Charing Cross Road (1987), The 10th Kingdom (2000) and Firelight (1998). He has also edited episodes of Poirot, Rosemary & Thyme and Kingdom.
Wimble received two BAFTA nominations for his editing work.
