Biography
Christoph Waltz is an Austrian-German actor. He was born in Vienna on 4 October 1956 into a theatrical family.
Waltz gained international recognition for his portrayal of SS Colonel Hans Landa in Inglourious Basterds (2009), for which he received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, as well as BAFTA, Golden Globe and Cannes awards. He won a second Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Dr. King Schultz in Django Unchained (2012).
His other credits include Blofeld in Spectre (2015) and No Time to Die (2021), and more recent roles as Harlander in Frankenstein (2025) and the voice of Max in Minions & Monsters (2026).
