Biography

Dan Laustsen is a Danish cinematographer. He studied at the National Film School of Denmark from 1976 to 1979 and is a member of the Danish Society of Cinematographers and the American Society of Cinematographers.

He has collaborated extensively with directors Guillermo del Toro and Chad Stahelski. His credits include Crimson Peak (2015), The Shape of Water (2017), John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017), John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum (2019), Nightmare Alley (2021), John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023) and Frankenstein (2025). He has received three Academy Award nominations for Best Cinematography.
