Biography

David Warshofsky is an American actor. Born David A. Warner on 23 February 1961 in San Francisco, California, he trained at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and changed his professional surname to his family’s original Russian form upon joining Actors’ Equity.

He has appeared in films such as Last Exit to Brooklyn (1989), Face/Off (1997), There Will Be Blood (2007), Taken (2008), Lincoln (2012) and Captain Phillips (2013), in which he played Mike Perry. Television credits include episodes of Friends and a recurring role in Fear the Walking Dead.

Warshofsky has taught acting at the University of Southern California School of Dramatic Arts, where he served as director of the MFA Acting programme.
