Biography
Debbie Lee Carrington (also credited as Deborah Lee Carrington and Debbi Lee Carrington) was an American actress and stuntwoman. She was born on 14 December 1959 in San Jose, California, and died on 23 March 2018 in Pleasanton, California.
Carrington began her career in 1981 after answering a casting call while studying at the University of California, Davis, where she later earned a degree in early childhood development. She appeared in costume roles such as an Ewok in Return of the Jedi (1983) and Thumbelina in Total Recall (1990), as well as in Men in Black (1997), Batman Returns (1992) and The Polar Express (2004). On television she played Tammy in the Seinfeld episode 'The Stand-In' (1994), alongside guest roles in In Living Color, The Drew Carey Show, Dexter and Bones.
She also worked as a stunt performer, often doubling for child actors or in costume-specific parts, and advocated for proper credit for dwarf actors.
