Biography
Deirdre Bowen is a Canadian casting director. She has worked on more than 400 television episodes and numerous films, including A History of Violence (2005), Eastern Promises (2007), Pompeii (2014), Enemy (2014), Crimes of the Future (2022) and Infinity Pool (2023). Her television credits include Vikings (2013–2020) and Kim's Convenience.
Bowen won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Casting in a Television Series for Kim's Convenience in 2017 and has received multiple other nominations at the Canadian Screen Awards and their predecessor Gemini Awards. She has also received two Primetime Emmy Award nominations for casting.
