Biography
Donald Graham Burt is an American production designer. He began working in film in the early 1990s and has collaborated frequently with director David Fincher.
His credits include The Joy Luck Club (1993), Donnie Brasco (1997), Zodiac (2007), The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008), The Social Network (2010), The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011), Gone Girl (2014), Mank (2020) and The Killer (2023). He also worked on the television series House of Cards (2013) and the miniseries The Sympathizer (2024).
Burt won Academy Awards for Best Art Direction for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2009) and for Best Production Design for Mank (2021), as well as a BAFTA Film Award for the former. He is a graduate of Independence High School in Kansas (1976) and studied art at the University of Arizona.
