Biography

William Bradley Pitt (born 18 December 1963) is an American actor and film producer. He grew up in Springfield, Missouri, attended the University of Missouri, and moved to California to pursue an acting career.

Pitt gained early recognition in Thelma & Louise (1991) and went on to star in films including Fight Club (1999), the Ocean's trilogy (2001–2007) as Rusty Ryan, Inglourious Basterds (2009) as Lieutenant Aldo Raine, Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood (2019) as Cliff Booth, Babylon (2022) as Jack Conrad, and F1 (2025) as Sonny Hayes.

He won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood. Through his production company Plan B Entertainment he has produced films including the Academy Award winner 12 Years a Slave (2013).
