Biography
Grace Zabriskie is an American actress. She was born Grace Caplinger on 17 May 1941 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She wrote and performed poetry in Atlanta before working as a silk-screen printmaker. She moved to Hollywood and made her screen debut in Norma Rae (1979).
Zabriskie is known for her role as Sarah Palmer in the television series Twin Peaks (1990–1991; 2017) and the film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992). She appeared in three films directed by David Lynch: Wild at Heart (1990) as Juana Durango, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me and Inland Empire (2006). Other film credits include My Own Private Idaho (1991) as Alena, Child's Play 2 (1990), Armageddon (1998), The Grudge (2004) and The Judge (2014). On television she had a recurring role as Mrs. Ross in Seinfeld and played Lois Henrickson in Big Love (2006–2011).
