Biography
Halley Feiffer is an American actress, playwright and television writer. Born on 20 November 1984 in the USA, she is the daughter of cartoonist and playwright Jules Feiffer and writer Jenny Allen. She graduated from Wesleyan University in 2007.
As an actress, Feiffer appeared as Sophie Greenberg in Noah Baumbach's The Squid and the Whale (2005). Her other film roles include You Can Count on Me (2000), The Messenger (2009), Margot at the Wedding (2007) and Appropriate Behavior (2014). Television credits include guest appearances in Law & Order (2001), Flight of the Conchords (2007), The Good Wife (2009) and Elementary (2014).
Feiffer has written several plays, including I'm Gonna Pray for You So Hard (2015), A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Gynecologic Oncology Unit at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center of New York City (2016) and Moscow Moscow Moscow Moscow Moscow Moscow (2017/2019). She served as showrunner and wrote all episodes of the twelfth season of American Horror Story: Delicate (2023–2024).
