Biography

Ian Gracie is an Australian production designer and art director. He has worked extensively as supervising art director on large-scale international productions, including Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones (2002) and Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (2005), Moulin Rouge! (2001), Australia (2008), The Great Gatsby (2013), Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017), Alien: Covenant (2017) and Mulan (2020).

Gracie’s production design credits include the Australian feature Red Dog (2011) and the upcoming Send Help (2026), directed by Sam Raimi. He has received awards and nominations for his work on Australia and The Great Gatsby, among others, and has maintained a long association with production designer Catherine Martin.
