Biography
J.D. Evermore is an American actor. Born on 5 November 1968 in Greenville, Mississippi, he studied theatre at the University of Southern Mississippi before moving to Los Angeles to pursue acting. His screen career began in the mid-1990s with guest roles in series such as Walker, Texas Ranger.
Evermore is known for recurring and supporting roles including Sheriff Carl Daggett in the series Rectify (2013–2016), Detective Lutz in True Detective (2014), Harley in The Walking Dead (2014), and appearances in films such as Django Unchained (2012), 12 Years a Slave (2013), Dallas Buyers Club (2013), Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014) and Deepwater Horizon (2016). He has also appeared in Treme, American Horror Story and First Man (2018).
