Biography
Jack Kehler (1946–2022) was an American character actor. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he began working in theatre at the age of 24 and became a member of the Actors Studio after studying with Sanford Meisner and Wynn Handman. His first film role was in Strange Invaders (1983).
Kehler appeared in dozens of films and television series. He played Guard Johnny Mack in Lost Highway (1997) and was known for roles including Marty, the Dude's landlord, in The Big Lebowski (1998), Ben in Men in Black II (2002), and a recurring part as Harlan Wyndam-Matson in The Man in the High Castle. He also featured in Point Break (1991), Waterworld (1995), Lethal Weapon 4 (1998) and Pineapple Express (2008). Kehler died in Los Angeles from complications of leukaemia.
