Biography
James Wilson is a British film producer born in August 1965. He studied producing at the American Film Institute and began his career as a production executive at Fox Searchlight Pictures and Film4.
He is a long-term collaborator of director Jonathan Glazer, having produced Under the Skin (2013) and The Zone of Interest (2023). Other credits as producer include Attack the Block (2011), You Were Never Really Here (2017), Waves (2019) and The Voice of Hind Rajab (2025).
Wilson was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture for The Zone of Interest. He has won two British Academy Film Awards and received further BAFTA nominations for Under the Skin, You Were Never Really Here and The Zone of Interest.
