Biography
Joe King was a costume designer and wardrobe supervisor. Born on 25 December 1908 in St Petersburg, Russia, he worked in the American film industry from the early 1950s onwards.
He received costume design credits on films including The Big Night (1951), Queen for a Day (1951), The Pride and the Passion (1957), Judgment at Nuremberg (1961) and The Secret of Santa Vittoria (1969). Other contributions include wardrobe or costume supervision on High Noon (1952), Witness for the Prosecution (1957), The Defiant Ones (1958), Inherit the Wind (1960), It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963) and Guess Who's Coming to Dinner (1967).
King died on 19 April 2002 in Los Angeles, California.
