Biography
John Strickland is a British film and television director. He began directing in the early 1980s and has worked on numerous British drama series and miniseries.
His credits include episodes of Prime Suspect (1991) and Prime Suspect 2 (1992), Agatha Christie's Poirot (1989), Bodies (2004–2006), Line of Duty (2012–2019), Bodyguard (2018), The Flight Attendant (2020) and The Rig (2023). He has received BAFTA nominations for his work on Prime Suspect 2 and Undercover Heart (1998), and won a Directors Guild of Great Britain award for Bodies.
