Biography
Justin Matthew Edwards is an English actor, comedian and writer. He studied drama at the University of Manchester before training at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.
His television work includes the role of Ben Swain in The Thick of It, appearances in Black Books (2000), Black Mirror (2011) and Father Brown, for which he received an RTS Award for Best Male Actor in 2014. He has played Jeremy Clarkson on several occasions and portrayed Mr Rumbold in the 2016 BBC remake of Are You Being Served?.
Edwards's film roles include parts in The Duchess (2008), Love & Friendship (2016), The Death of Stalin (2017), Paddington (2014), 1917 (2019) and Wonka (2023). He is married to comedian Lucy Porter.
